What has Alain worked on?
Work Experience
Alain was the original project manager for Reid Zoeller’s Ditchcraft design in 2008. Alain oversaw the design and tooling of what was considered at the time the Ditchcraft Skate. It went into production known as the Hells Bay Skate. Being the project manager and knowing the boat from conception, Alain was able to purchase the tooling from Hells Bay and the design rights from Reid Zoeller in 2011. A builder’s agreement was struck with Hann Powerboats, allowing Hann to build several nano’s during 2012 – 2013 model year.
Seeing so many boat designs over the years, he knew the DitchCraft Skate was unique. It’s simplicity and sweet lines would certainly appeal to many anglers. In 2017, Alain and his wife formed nanoCraft Boats LLC. and decided to take this great design to market full time. It’s known today as the nano 13 by nanoCraft boats.
With his many years of working within the boating industry and learning what process’s & hardware work best, Alain is 100% confident his customers will be very satisfied with the fit / finish and performance of the nano 13.
